Small Business

Small business is the backbone of the Australian economy. When small business does well, Australia does well. That is why it is critical that small business is supported by the Government in Canberra and is not burdened with unnecessary red tape. Before becoming a Senator, I sat on the board of the Franchise Council of Australia and ran my own small business in Western Sydney.

I know firsthand the struggles that are facing small businesses right now, particularly the rising cost of living. As a Senator, I will always champion the rights of small business because I know the benefits that they bring to the economy, families and local communities.
